    Hi and welcome to FOVE community! Yes, if you want to use eye tracking, the users need to start with calibration. The reason is simply that our eyes are different from each other. The calibration only takes a couple of seconds though, so it is quite a simple issue.

    Right now it is difficult for one user to calibrate a headset and then run an application of the Vive. Is there a way to calibrate the headset while inside a Unity or Unreal Engine application?

    Even a way to have feedback to when the calibration is done as to auto-launch the application when calibration is complete.

    The only effective method I've seen so far is, start your Unity application first and then open the calibration. The Unity application will still be there when you are done.

    Hi. I'm trying to calibrate but nothing happens after I look at the green dot for a while.   Are there any other steps?

    Are there any applications that I can experience, already built in?
