Fove for unity provides "GetHMDRotation" function to get the current rotation of the HDM.
I would like to know what is the reference point (angle) for this rotation? Is the reference angle a v3 of (0,0,0) ?
This is because I need to log the current HMD rotation as a single value, and that value is going to be the difference in the Quaternion of the current rotation to reference rotation.
I will be using the function
Quaternion current = FoveInterface.GetHMDRotation();
Quaternion reference = ??
float AngularDifference = Quaternion.Angles(current, referece);
So help me find the reference angle.
