Glasses won't fit in the frame
Hi, I just received my Fove 0. I was very sad to see that my glasses don't fit in the frame, They are not large, well, not supposed to. Would it be difficult to have interchangeable lens that could have prescription in it? Or can someone with glasses that fit well and work great with the Fove 0 tell me the model and where it is sold? That would be greatly appreciated.

My glasses fit in the FOVE 0. But it's not confortable at all and the eye tracking doesn't work with it.
I bought a cheap Zenni Optical frame and I'll try to check if I can do something like a lens adapter for it (like in http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1602460). I hope to be able to find a lens that is compatible with the eye tracking...

I found a company that do adapters but Fove is not on their list (https://vr-lens-lab.com/). It would be great if Fove could create adapters.

The difficulty with glasses is not only with the size of some of them, but with the eye tracking as _MttC pointed out. Regular glasses are too reflective for the eye tracking to work properly, and for now our algorithm and hardware can only handle contact lenses. For users who don't need the eye tracking all the time and who can not wear contact lenses, it would surely be helpful to have some tips on glasses that fit. I encourage someone to start a thread on that :)

@Vincent Talbot , Did you order a set of the adaptors? If so, how did it fit?

It looks like with my prescription I can't an adaptor. Meh, I'm doomed. I would have been great if Fove could have it done like PlayStation VR which is perfect for people with glasses. And from the look of the headset, it would not be possible to modify it to my needs. Didn't Fove test their headset with people wearing glasses? I so disappointed, I had so much expectations from Fove. Nice way to throw 400$USD through the window. I can't recommend this VR to anyone wearing glasses, except if they have young child size head with super tiny glasses.
PS: Add some f word after each 2-3 words to see my emotional state about all this situation.

The point is that is that it's a device developed by a fledgeling company that started on kickstarter on their first batch of SDK using frontier level tech. It won't have all the bells and whistles as a more final version. I use glasses too. I would much rather not have to start using contacts again just to try out fove, so I'm on the same boat as you. It sucks, but that's early adopter kickstarting for you. We could have gotten Oculus SDK2 which definitely had support for glasses with it's replaceable lenses, but decided to back fove instead. I don't know what reasons you did it for, but I did weigh the possibility of having difficulties using glasses (amongst others) when I backed fove but the project anyway.
