    It seems like the problem you are facing is the same as this issue: https://support.getfove.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000788048/comments/115001103728

    As Scott said, we are working on it. So hopefully it will be handled during the next release.

    Hi Remco, I'm not sure if I am having the same issue. The error is the same, but I try to direct it to a port which is NOT in use, but I still get the same issue. I have tried 4 versions of the software from 10.0 to 11.4, but still no luck resolving this,in fact starting the compositor seems to have more errors appearing in the log now:

    RemoteRequester(tcp://127.0.0.1:8317) error: EFVR_RemoteRequester_Result::Timeout: No response from server
    Unable to determine IsEyeTrackingCalibrating: EFVR_ErrorCode::Server_General
    Eye camera loop running: true
    No calibration data exists for profile: 0
    RemoteRequester(tcp://127.0.0.1:8307) error: EFVR_RemoteRequester_Result::Timeout: No response from server
    InitiateConnection: Unable to send heartbeat
    Destroying FVRHeadset object (0000012CD82D7790)
    Critical error in companion: Unable to send heartbeat
    Compositor port is in in use, tries remaining: 2
    Compositor port is in in use, tries remaining: 1
    Compositor port is in in use, exiting
