The calibration procedure is sometimes fluid and quick, finishing in under 30 seconds, with no stops in motion. Unfortunately, this is not normally the case for our team. Calibration often gets stuck and will not continue for some time, or will not start when the user is looking at the dot. This is frustrating for the user, and it wastes time. It usually also leads to sub par calibration when it finally does complete.
We try to use the eye images in the config tool to ensure that the eyes are centred in the camera (as much as possible). This helps somewhat but has not fixed the problem.
Is there a way to get the calibration to work more reliably? Some kind of "best practices" for positioning the headset/preparing it for use?
