    Hi Kelley,

The update was uploaded to getfove.com/developers, but we unfortunately had to pull the release for some final testing after noticing a mistake we had made with it. We are really sorry for getting you psyched prematurely like that. We are working over the weekend now to solve the issues we noticed, and we are doing our best to have it available in the beginning of next week.

You guys are really awesome for being with us as early adopters. Everyone, especially Kickstarter backers, deserves so much credit for being patient and understanding with the difficulties new products such as ours sometimes face with this stuff in the beginning.

With each one of these updates you are going to have a better experience, so keep the feedback and bug reports coming guys! Because we are building this stuff for you, understanding your needs is the number one thing we want to be able to do.

I was able to get a copy of the setup so I could at least see if it at least improved my situation any. I can now see the stare at the dot screen in the hmd so that is a step in the right direction. It just doesn't do anything when i stare at it. I initially was unable to see my eyes in the config screen until i rebooted, then they were displayed. But still didnt do anything when staring at do. Decided to give steam another try but could not get compositer to stop auto starting in spite of auto start being disabled. I ended up going to the program path and renaming it so it couldnt find it to restart and then steamvr was able to run. It showed what looked like a virtual debug area kinda holodeck on the hmd but the game still showed on monitor. Everything detected properly in steam and followed the motion correctly. Also added the leap motion to the mix and i can report that it correctly was showing my hands in the game. Making progress... Hopefully next release will resolve most if not all remaining issues.

Ordered an hdmi to dvi 4k ready adapter so i can have monitor and headset connected to the same video card instead of having headset on separate video card to see if that makes a difference. I will report back my findings.

The adapter arrived at my door about 20 minutes ago, and I instantly went into test mode.  I have some good news now, using the latest driver that was pulled, and having the compositor renamed, I am able to get steam to work and have tested a few different games now.  I simply plugged my hdmi only monitor into the adapter and plugged the adapter into the dvi port and then plugged the hdmi cable from the headset into the same video card and hocus pocus it worked.  If anyone else is in my same situation I would suggest trying this.  I have two GTX 980 Ti cards and the adapter I purchased was this.
