    Hi Lucas,

How do you mean the "usb 2.0 is on a wall charger" I presume this is a powered USB bus which is also connected to the PC? Something we've ran into with ours is that if we use a dongle to convert our display port to HDMI we don't get anything on the Fove VR screen. We had to connect directly to the graphics card.

Hi CK, thanks for your reply !

No it's an actual wall charger, and I also tried with an powered USB bus connected to the PC, but it's still the same result.

I don't use any converter for the display, my PC screen is connected via DisplayPort and the Fove via Hdmi, on the GPU.

I didn't try my Fove0 on another computer, it may not work at all.

Edit: My friend tried on its Win8.1 PC and it works fine, something might be missing in my Windows10 updated from a Win7 N edition...

    Hi Lucas,

Have you since been able to find out what the problem was? We've not been able to reproduce this unfortunately, so if you happen to have found the cause and solution, can you please share it with our community in case they have similar problems in the future.

    Kind regards,

    Remco

    Hi Remco,

I did setup Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 10 last week and I got my HMD detected. But the eye tracking wasn't working so I plugged the 3.0 usb wire in a 2.0 slot and it's working fine since !
I think that some utility was missing but I couldn't figure out what it was...

    Hi Lucas,

Good to hear you got it working. It is actually quite mysterious that your problem was solved this way. All other components of the HMD also work properly know? For example, if you open up the config tool - with the position tracking camera plugged in - can you see the LEDs on the case light up? Is position tracking working accurately?

    Hi Remco,

I know it's weird, but as soon as I saw the HMD and all its compenents working on another PC, I only wanted to have a clean installation of an updated Windows and Visual C++.
Everything is fine in the config tool (I can see the eyes of the user and the LEDs) and the position tracking is working accurately.
