    Eye Camera exposure time (8 ms) + transmission time (2 ms) + processing time (4 ms)

    Therefore, the current latency of FOVE Eye Tracking is 14 ms.

    In practice, the total latency becomes:
    14 ms
    + however long it takes the application to use the eye tracking data and update
    + however long it takes the screen to render the next frame of the application

    Hey Jeremy,

    When you talk about the time it takes to the application to use the eye tracking data, how can I see, save those data?

     

    And do you know which type of camera is used for the eye tracking how does it work?

    Hi Mickael,

    Apologies for the delay in responding.

    Using either the FOVE SDK, Unreal/Unity Plugin you build an application then read up on the documentation (appropriate to your developer's environment) about what all the functions return. Then you just pipe those returned values to wherever you want.

    Unity 3D is probably the easiest place to get started as there is a https://github.com/FoveHMD/UnityDataCollector which is premade.
