In SteamVR API (HTC Vive) there is possibility to specify, in Submit call, whether the headset should apply image warping or not. I actually use this feature to perform custom image warping and then, in Submit, tell the headset *not to* apply its own distortion. In Fove it seems there is no way to specify that and it seems that Fove does warping just on the headset. End of story. Can we expect this feature will be introduced to match SteamVR API in that regard?
