Every time I run Fove, calibration is invalid. I have to calibrate each time I run Fove VR. Can't the data be saved? It's quite annoying that I have to do this each time I turn the computer on.
As for the calibration I think I'm doing everything ok, following the green dot etc., and yet when I run the C++ sample the tracking is okayish but lacking. It can fail in quite a few situations. Also, I hacked the code to display a square in the point of the screen my eyes are looking at. I noticed that the tracking is jarring. It's not moving smoothly from one point to the other but rather it's jumping.
Also, I think the idea of returning a gaze vector is not the best one. Taking a gaze vector to intersect it with the scene's geometry to find the point I'm looking at would be extremely impractical in a real-case scenario (with millions of triangles). I'd much rather prefer to get a 2D point in screen coordinates which my eyes are focused on.
