    Hi Jeff,

it seems that the new update for the FOVE sdk (0.13.0) fixed the rendering problem on 4.17.
    Thanks!
    cheers

moreover, the white part on the Fove screen seems to be affected by the pc monitor resolution and the game's window size:
    - if i rotate the main screen to landscape the white part is not on the bottom but instead is on the side
    - if i set the game's window size to a very small size the white part on the fove screen gets bigger

when playing in the editor with the VR Preview it's not affected by the window size

my monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440 on an nvidia gtx 1060 with the latest drivers

    Hi Mtansini,

This is a known bug that so far appears to be specific to Unreal 4.17. We're currently looking into it, and will also be testing 4.18 shortly and see if the bug occurs there too.

Let us know if you find out any other interesting properties of the bug on your own, and likewise I'll update this thread when we get it fixed.

Yep, actually the bug is still in the 0.13.0 SDK but I pushed a workaround for it in the Unreal plugin along side the SDK 0.13.0 update. With 0.14.0 I hope to fix the issue at the SDK level and remove the Unreal side workaround.

But anyways, I just forgot to update this thread when I pushed the workaround, sorry about that!
