After getting my FOVE recently, I found some time to get into the SDK and was excited to include FOVE support into our industrial visualization / research engine. Unfortunately I realized that OpenGL is not supported in the SDK 0.11.4. So that was quite a letdown, as our engine is entirely OpenGL based.
I also found this a little surprising, considering the unique eye tracking feature on the FOVE clearly attracts use cases in research and industry (consumer behavior research etc) and these engines are very often GL based. Also note that both the Rift and the Vive had GL support from the first devkit onwards, so I would have expected the same for the FOVE 0.
What's your current roadmap for OpenGL support ?
