IsHardwareConnected() function returns false even if HMD connected to PC

    We designed the interface to be useful even if you don't have a FOVE headset plugged in, so returning a valid pointer is intentional.

    For what you're describing, you should use the IsHardwareConnected() function that you mentioned. I'll take a look and see where that stands currently. We're finalizing QA on the next release of the runtime and a major update to the Unity plugin, so I'll try and make sure that this isn't still a bug.
