I've been following FOVE for over a year now and purchased one as soon as it got available.
The main purpose of me buying the device is to develop a program to detect visual field defects for my patients.
To detect visual field defects, the app should randomly display a small bright point in otherwise all-black screen, at a certain angle with respect to the patient's gaze position. If the patient presses a button indicating that the patient saw the bright point, the app knows that the patient has intact visual field at that angle.
So, head tracking should be disabled, and should show a black screen with random bright lights flickering only with respect to the patient's gaze position.
Since unity is designed for developing virtual reality apps, head tracking and everything else is enabled by default, and have to design everything in respect to this virutal 3D world, which is unnecessary complication for me.
I have no idea where I should start, and any advice is very appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
