Brand new user sorry for long initial post
Hi we have managed to borrow one of your headsets for research
Our simulators are designed for police decision makers in strategic decision making in counter terrorism and other high risk situations. Up till now we have used video to provide briefings and situational awareness using our Hydra methodologies, for more information please see our website in my signature. We have 85 simulators in six countries including the USA both at Homeland Security and LAPD.
We are now thinking of bringing the decision making down to a more tactical level. To do this we have shot 360 degree video of scenes and want to understand where the participant is looking for after action debriefing. Another application is in child protection scenarios. Here we have traditionally looked at the strategic decisions made by different agencies in managing the risk. With your helmet we are hoping to track where the participant is looking in an interview scenario i.e. are they looking at the parents, the child, the room for age appropriate toys, cleanliness suitability.
I would be most grateful to find out if you have any experience in getting these metrics, our needs are not interactions during gaming, but more slower time analysis of participant engagement.
Are you able to provide any advice.
We are UK based so excuse the use of our spelling
With kind regards
