Our team just purchased a Fove last week and have been setting it up. Recently, we've been trying to set up the FoveUnitySample Unity located here.
I launched the project example in Unity 5.6.7f1 (because the documentation said any version newer than 5.4.5f1 was acceptable) and opened the Sample Scene. I then set up the Fove with Unity according to the official video tutorial.
After adding a "Main Camera" to the scene because I was getting a display error, I was able to get a successful "Connected to FOVE hardware" message in the Unity console. However, following that message, I got the following error: "Failed to issue albedo update."
I've already updated the Fove firmware, the compositor and runtime are both working, and I'm able to see a starry sky in the Fove firmware. However, when I load the Unity game, while I'm able to see the green and purple dots move when I move the headset, I'm unable to see the actual sample scene inside the Fove.
To help with troubleshooting, I've attached pictures of the Fove logs from our system, along with a picture of the Unity development environment. You can see the console error message I'm getting, along with the green and purple dots in the game environment (which move when I move the Fove)\
Thank you for the help. Please get back as soon as you can.
