I'm using the the FOVE in a study regarding depth perception, and I was wondering someone would know if depth perception in the FOVE is created using binocular disparity - ie. the image projected to either eye is slightly different in perspective to create the illusion of depth.
The reason I ask this is that I have coded for an object that moves in depth (in Unity) that has been corrected for size change as it moves; therefore, the object's size doesn't change as it moves back and forth from the perspective of the person wearing the FOVE. However, the stimulus appears completely static.
Thanks in advance!
