    Hey hwanders,

So when using Steam you use the Steam VR compositor, not the FOVE one.

The depth issue is interesting, which titles are you looking at?

As the FOVE camera doesn't do room-scale I can see how the HMD positioning could be lower fidelity than lighthouse systems however, in most seated experiences the position tracking should be adequate.

    Cheers,

    Hi Jeremy,

I see that I need to turn the compositor off before starting up SteamVR. But for the HMD issue I am using my own SteamVR applications. I have also tested it on the Unity sample program, and while the eye tracking and rotation worked I was not able to move anywhere. It still says "No HMD connected". Let me know how I should troubleshoot this.

    Thanks,

    Harry

    Hi Jeremy,

Just wanted to also let you know that on top of the HMD issue, whenever I try to load a profile FOVE VR stops working and quits automatically. I'm not sure if these two issues are connected. Please let me know how to fix these issues.

    Best,

    Harry

    Hey Harry,

Are you able to share any of your builds (as a binary) - I will try to get them running on my end.

Can you shoot me a fovelog for when you try to load a profile and the VR crashes? >> Support@fove-inc.com

I sent my fovelog. Looking at it, it seems like my compositor is malfunctioning, even though everything but depth positioning works. I don't think I'll be able to send you exactly what I'm working on. I definitely tried the Unity sample program and the same issue arises, so this happens whether I am using SteamVR or not.

    Hey Harry,

It looks like perhaps your log didn't get through - I've sent you an email asking for it again.

    Cheers.
