Fove appropriate graphic card

    Hi Ahmed,

Unfortunately that laptop will not work. iGPU solutions including Radeon iGPUs are generally too slow to render VR contents. We recently retested a Radeon Vega 8 iGPU (different laptop but similar GPU) and it could only barely run the VR compositor without any content.

You more or less need a gaming laptop to run VR in general unless you want to lower the resolution and framerate (generally not a good idea in VR). As far as Lenovo offerings, we quite like the IdeaPad gaming series if you want to check those out.

The nice thing about iGPUs-only laptops is the multi-graphics card problem which causes a lot of trouble for Direct Mode is gone, and of course they're cheaper and smaller for not having to include a discreet GPU. However, to our knowledge, at least as far as laptop iGPUs go, there are none good enough to run VR. We're hoping the next generation of iGPUs are a little better, like Intel Xe and AMD Navi2, but we'll just have to see how they test out.
